How can I clean the dust off of the blades inside my fan?

The easiest way to clean dust off of internal fan blades is through the use of compressed air. Cans of compressed air can be purchased at most hardware and office supply stores.

Is it necessary for me to lubricate or oil the motor on my fan?

No, your fan motor comes fully lubricated out of the box. It does not need to be lubricated or oiled prior to use. We highly recommend against lubricating or oiling the fan at any time.

My fan will not start. Why?

Try moving your fan to another outlet in a different room. It is possible that there could be a problem with the wall outlet. If your outlet checks out, the fuse within the plug could be blown or there could be a problem with the product. To replace the fuse, refer to your user manual. This function allows you to set the length of time your fan will run before it automatically turns off. The length of time varies from model to model. Please see your user manual for more information.

How far away can I be from the product and still be able to use my remote?

If your fan includes a remote control, all remotes have a range of up to 15ft, provided a fully charged battery is installed correctly. Note: In order for the remote to work properly, you must point the remote directly at the control panel and ensure that there are no obstructions blocking the space between you and your fan.
